9:00 AM to 5:00 PM; Monday through Friday

Milestone Centers, a subsidiary of Partners For Quality Inc., is a nonprofit, community-based human services agency supporting individuals with behavioral health challenges and intellectual & developmental disabilities in communities throughout Western Pennsylvania. Milestone Centers has earned certification from the Sanctuary Institute for providing trauma-informed care.
Responsibilities
The Behavioral Health Registered Nurse assists and provides necessary medical support and service to the Behavioral Health outpatient program. Also provides coverage, when necessary, to Intellectual, Developmental & Autism (ID&A) programs.

Assists all Behavioral Health (BH) Directors, supervisors and staff in promoting and maintaining the program’s clients’ optimal health by:

Establishing effective working relationships with clients, families, providers, pharmacies and all members of the treatment team.

On-site management of client caseload receiving long-acting antipsychotic injections and treatment compliance challenges including:
-
Treatment plan management
-
Assessing clients, in-person, and documenting/communicating findings
-
Providing intramuscular/subcutaneous injection administration, inventory and storage management
-
Reporting and collaborating with client providers during acute decompensation observations
-
Providing on-site availability to support Outpatient clinic and Behavioral Health team.

Managing/triaging nurse line calls based on urgency of request.
-
Assisting prescribers with reviewing and completing medication refills, diagnostic tests/labs (including REMS program management) and prior authorization requests.

Completing verbal orders from physicians and Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner (CRNP).

Assuming responsibilities for maintaining on-site medication sample inventory, storage and disposal.

Providing Prescription Drug Monitoring Program (PDMP) reviews for providers as needed.

Collaborating in ongoing monthly and as needed treatment planning through team meetings and clinical supervision.

Supporting providers with completing requested client paperwork requests and mail - meeting all deadlines.

Managing onsite clinic medical supply, first aid kits, and sharps/medical waste handling/disposal.

Participating in program evaluation and data collection.

Communicating concerns and potential risks to the Director of Nursing and/or appropriate Department Director.

Providing coverage for ID&A nursing staff as needed.

Understanding and compliance with all Partners For Quality Corporate Personnel Policies and Procedures and Milestone specific Personnel and Operational Policies and Procedures.

Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Current Pennsylvania RN License
-
Act 33, 34 and FBI Clearances
-
Valid PA Driver’s license and acceptable driving record
-
Registered Nurse with at least 2 years of nursing experience (preferably in Psychiatric or Mental Health Clinic nursing)

Special consideration for experience working with:

Administering psychiatric long-acting injections
-
Mental health clinics
-
Individuals with mental health challenges/dual diagnosis
Minimum Compensation
USD $34.00/Hr.
Maximum Compensation
USD $34.00/Hr.
