$1,500 Sign-On Bonus
A $1,500 sign-on bonus is available for full-time positions after six (6) months of continuous employment. Per Diem employees are not eligible for the sign-on bonus.

Duties

  • Aid residents requiring assistance dealing with substance abuse problems.
  • Formulate program for treatment and rehabilitation of client, using knowledge of drug and alcohol abuse problems and counseling and treatment techniques.
  • Advise clients individually and in group sessions to assist in overcoming alcohol and drug dependency.
  • Closely observe and physically check each client receiving residential services hourly according to state protocols and document appropriately.
  • Monitor clients’ medication and maintain logs documenting processes.
  • Adhere to medication policies and procedures.
  • Deliver assigned educational module groups and oversee structured activities.
  • Perform administrative duties such as filing, copying, answering phones, etc.
  • Maintain shift communication logs.
  • Assist with and participate in all regularly scheduled social recovery activities and services occurring during an assigned shift.
  • Attend and participate in mandated staff meetings and scheduled team meetings and trainings as required.
  • Collect urine samples for testing.
  • Maintain cleanliness of property
  • Crisis intervention
  • Assist, teach and/or supervise clients with general household chores, cleanliness and food preparation; clean up as required.
  • Provide support in a professional, courteous, confidential, and timely manner to other employees or any other individual requiring assistance related to the essential functions of this position.
  • Maintain the confidentiality of residents, employees, and the organization.
  • Maintain professional relationships and observe the appropriate boundaries and limits with clients.
  • Maintain appropriate attendance record.
  • Understanding of ACA procedures and interventions used in keeping clients engaged in treatment.

Experience and Skills:

  • Able to work under pressure with flexibility and dependability.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication (verbal and written) and presentation skills. Strong listening skills, particularly when clients are conveying their needs.
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and analytical skills.
  • Communicates professionally in person and on the phone.
  • Treats others with respect
  • Communicates openly and honestly.
  • Exceptional client/client service with the ability to resolve service issues.
  • Expresses facts and thoughts in writing in a clear and organized way
  • Written communication skills: documents daily progress in client charts.
  • Computer Skills: Google drive and digital documentation

Knowledge:

  • An understanding of chemical dependency
  • An understanding of the 12 Step process
  • Knowledge of HIPAA compliance and privacy measures
  • Knowledge and good use of boundaries with coworkers and clients

Required Qualifications:

  • RADT and minimum of one year of experience in a human services setting.
  • Clean DMV Record and/or accordance with program requirements.
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Current certification in First Aid/CPR
  • High School diploma, or GED equivalent
  • Must be legally able to work in the United States.

Pay: $21.00 - $26.50 per hour dependent on experience

Expected hours: 24 – 40 per week
