Behavioral Health Technician (Youth Mentor)

We’re hiring reliable, strong-minded individuals to work directly with teenage boys in a structured residential setting for Morning, PM and Grave shifts. This is a hands-on role where you’ll be actively involved in mentorship, accountability, and daily operations—not sitting behind a desk.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Supervise and lead groups of teenage boys in a residential setting
  • Maintain structure, enforce rules, and hold residents accountable
  • Stay actively engaged throughout your shift (this is not a sit-down job)
  • Step in during conflicts and use de-escalation techniques
  • Lead or participate in recreational activities, fitness, and daily routines
  • Support residents with chores, meals, and responsibilities
  • Transport residents to outings, school, or appointments
  • Document behaviors and communicate with your team

Preferred (but not required)

Requirements

  • 21 years or older
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Able to pass a background check
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Comfortable working in a structured, high-energy environment

Training Provided

  • CPR / First Aid
  • Crisis intervention & de-escalation
  • Hands-on training with experienced staff

Compensation & Perks

  • $16–$18/hr based on experience

Important to Know

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
