How you'll contribute

A Behavioral Health Technicians Manager who excels in this role:

  • Assists with developing specific departmental goals, standards, and objectives which directly support the strategic plan and vision of the organization.
  • Manages staff relations including performance management, staff satisfaction, and conflict management.
  • Perform and oversees scheduling, staff development, recruitment, payroll, and student engagement.
  • Monitors departmental budgets, regulatory compliance, departmental contracts, and vendor relations.
  • Determines and justifies needs for systems/equipment/supplies purchases, monitors usage, and oversees proper working order and/or stock supplies.
  • Creates and fosters an environment that encourages professional growth.
  • Ensures department stays focused on their important role in the continuum of care.
  • Have regular and reliable attendance.
  • Position serves both internal co-workers and external customers, clients, patients, contractors, and vendors.
  • Exhibit a comprehensive understanding of healthcare regulatory and compliance.
  • Skilled in the application of policies and procedures.
  • Manages the work of others, including planning, assigning, scheduling and reviewing work, and ensuring quality standards.
  • Responsible for hiring, terminating, training and developing, reviewing performance and administering corrective action for staff.

What we're looking for

Applicants should have a bachelor’s degree in psychology, Social Work, Business Administration, or related field from an accredited school required, three years of behavioral health experience and One year of leadership/management experience.

Additional requirements include:

  • Certifications: CPR and de‑escalation certification required within 30 days of employment and prior to any patient contact.
  • Experience: Three years of behavioral health experience and One year of leadership/management experience.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in psychology, Social Work, Business Administration, or related field from an accredited school required.
