Behavioral Intervention Professional

A New Hope, LLC is hiring Behavioral Intervention Professionals to work with children and young adults with developmental disabilities in home and community-based settings.

This position focuses on helping participants build communication, social, behavioral, and independent living skills through one-on-one support and structured interventions. Sessions may take place in homes, community settings, or other environments based on participant needs.

This role requires patience, consistency, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently while following individualized treatment plans.

Responsibilities

• Implement behavioral intervention and skill-building plans
• Work directly with participants ages 3–21
• Support participants in home and community settings
• Maintain accurate session notes and documentation
• Communicate professionally with families, supervisors, and team members
• Prioritize participant safety and engagement during sessions

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a human services field required (psychology, sociology, education, social work, etc.)
• 1,200+ hours of experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities
• Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and current insurance required
• Basic technology and documentation skills required
• Ability to adapt to different environments and situations
• RBT training required (training available through A New Hope)
• Must successfully pass a criminal background check in accordance with Idaho state requirements

Compensation & Benefits

• $35.00/hour
• Mileage reimbursement between sessions
• CPR/First Aid and RBT training available through A New Hope
• Health, dental, and life insurance available for eligible full-time employees
