Behaviorist

Job Description

The behaviorist is responsible for implementing strategies that will help the child meet his behavioral goal. He/She works one on one with an individual child in the classroom under an agency supervisor. The therapist is responsible for taking data on a daily basis. Reliability and Consistency is required. Desired applicant must be DOJ/FBI cleared, TB cleared and possess at least a AA. BA in psychology or related field preferred. At least one year experience working with special children is desired. At least a school year commitment is desired. If working as a full time employee the therapist must commit to 5 days a week and work schedule of 8:00 to 2:30 -3:00

If working as a part time employee , the therapist must be able to commit to at least 3 days of employment and be able to travel to any school in the LAUSD catchment area.

Applicant should have a love of children and a desire to help them succeed in the classroom environment. Speaking Spanish is a plus. Male applicants are highly desired

Pay: $20.00 - $27.00 per hour
