Bench Carpenter_ITX

Your primary duties and responsibilities will be:

• Fabrication and Assembly:
• • Fabricate and assemble custom millwork components using PVC materials.
  • Operate a variety of tools and machinery, including routers, saws, sanders, and other equipment, to cut, shape, and finish PVC.
  • Follow blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders to create precise and durable products.
• Quality Control:
• • Inspect work throughout the process to ensure all components meet company and client quality standards.
  • Perform final inspections to confirm accurate assembly, measurements, and finishes.
• Tool and Equipment Maintenance:
• • Maintain and operate carpentry tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Perform routine maintenance and report any equipment issues promptly.
• Safety and Cleanliness:
• • Adhere to all safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace to prevent accidents and ensure efficiency.
• Other duties as assigned

We believe the successful candidate will have:

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience as a bench carpenter, fabricator, or similar role preferred.
• Familiarity with PVC material is highly desirable; training may be provided for candidates with related carpentry experience.

Core Competencies:

• Proficiency in reading blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders.
• Experience with carpentry tools, including those specifically suited for PVC work.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues during fabrication and assembly.
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and lift for extended periods.
• Ability to lift and handle materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
