About the Opportunity

Farr’s Jewelry is seeking a highly skilled Bench Jeweler / Shop Manager to lead our fully equipped, in-house shop. This is a unique opportunity for a well-rounded jeweler to step into a key role overseeing daily bench operations while working with advanced tools and a consistent flow of repair and custom work.

This position is ideal for a craftsman who takes pride in precision, enjoys managing their workflow, and is seeking long-term stability within a respected and established business.

What You’ll Do

• Oversee day-to-day shop operations as the primary bench jeweler
• Perform a full range of repairs including sizing, soldering, and chain work
• Set all shapes and sizes of stones, including center stones for engagement rings
• Execute casting and contribute to custom jewelry projects
• Utilize advanced equipment including laser welding tools, microscope, and GraverMax systems
• Perform detailed work such as micro pavé and precision stone setting
• Maintain high standards of quality, accuracy, and turnaround time

What We’re Looking For

• Minimum 1- 2 years of bench experience preferred; advanced experience highly valued
• Strong proficiency in core bench skills including stone setting, sizing, and soldering
• Experience with casting and laser welding strongly preferred
• Ability to manage workflow and handle a full bench independently
• Exceptional attention to detail and pride in craftsmanship
• Willingness to complete a bench test as part of the interview process

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary range: $60,000 – $90,000 - based on experience and skill level

Work Environment & Schedule

• Monday through Friday schedule
• Closed Sundays, with limited additional days during the December holiday season
• Fully equipped shop with all tools and equipment provided
• Access to support and mentorship from an experienced jeweler (if needed)
