Bend Roving Maintenance Technician

Position Overview: We are currently seeking a Roving Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong maintenance, plumbing and customer service skills, maintain a professional demeanor, and excel in both verbal and written communication. Although we provide tools, this position does require a valid driver's license, a reliable truck and the ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 pounds. Basic handyman/person's skills including knowledge of household plumbing, electrical, and general home maintenance are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide maintenance services to tenants across the Bend area.
• Perform repairs and upkeep tasks in a timely and efficient manner.
• Maintain a professional appearance and attitude while interacting with tenants and colleagues.
• Communicate effectively with management and team members.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

Requirements:

• Valid driver's license and reliable truck or larger vehicle.
• Ability to lift at least 50 pounds and perform physical tasks.
• Working knowledge of household plumbing, electrical, and general home maintenance.
• Strong customer service orientation and communication skills.
• Bilingual proficiency is a plus but not required.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screening.

Salary and Benefits:

• Hourly rate: $24.00 per hour (based on experience).
• Additional compensation: $4 per hour for mileage, $25 cell phone allowance per month and funds for tool maintenance.
• Supplied/provided with full set of tools on start date.
• Full-time position with 40 hours per week.
