Bendi Driver/Warehouse Operative

Long established family run business seeking reliable and committed warehouse operatives to join our existing team on a long-term basis. As a Warehouse Operative, you will be responsible for various duties related to the efficient operation of the warehouse. This is a physically demanding role that requires heavy lifting, bending and crouching.

A valid Bendi pivot steer licence is required.

The working times for this position are 10:00-18:30 (with half an hour for lunch).

Job Role:

- Loading and unloading vehicles with incoming and outgoing shipments

- Receiving stock into the warehouse and checking inventory against purchase orders

- Picking and packing orders accurately and efficiently

- Pallet stacking and wrapping

- Unboxing stock

- Some heavy lifting

- Participating in stock taking

- Maintaining the organisation and cleanliness of the warehouse

Candidate requirements

Skills:

- General fitness (vital due to the physical nature of this role)

- Bendi pivot steer truck licence required

- Basic computer skills

- Good communication and teamwork skills

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of accuracy

Qualities:

- Willingness to learn and develop knowledge of products

- Attention to detail

- Hard working
