POSITION SUMMARY:
New Concepts for Living (NCFL) is seeking an experienced HR Benefits Administrator to oversee the administration of employee benefit programs and related HR processes. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate benefits administration, regulatory compliance, and positive employee experience. The ideal candidate is detail oriented, knowledgeable in benefits administration, and highly service focused.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (include the following but are not limited to):
- Administer all employee benefit programs including medical, dental, vision, life, disability, and retirement plans (403(b)).
- Manage benefit enrollments, terminations, COBRA, life events, and beneficiary updates.
- Coordinate annual open enrollment, including employee communications and education.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for employee benefit inquiries and issue resolution.
- Liaise with benefit vendors, carriers, brokers, and third-party administrators.
- Process and audit benefit invoices; resolve discrepancies with vendors and Finance.
- Support leave of absence programs including FMLA and disability.
- Assist with workers’ compensation and unemployment-related benefits matters.
- Participate in benefit audits, including retirement plan audits.
- Research and support the implementation of new benefit programs and wellness initiatives.
- Maintain accurate employee and benefits data within the HRIS.
- Ensure compliance with applicable federal and state benefits laws and regulations (ACA, ERISA, COBRA, FMLA).
- Prepare benefits-related reports, audits, and regulatory documentation.
- Document and maintain benefits procedures and workflows.
- Recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and employee experience
- Other duties as assigned
- Cooperate with New Concepts for Living and Department Staff in any inspection, inquiry or investigation
- 45 hours a week

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in benefits administration.
- Experience administering medical, dental, vision, life, disability, and retirement plans.
- Experience with UKG Ready or similar HRIS platforms required.
- HR or benefits-related certifications (CEBS, PHR, SHRM-CP) preferred.

Pay: $85,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
