Benefits Specialist
Location: Lafayette, IN | Schedule: Full-time

What You’ll Do
- Manage employee benefits enrollments and ensure accuracy in the HRIS
- Reconcile monthly benefit invoices (medical, life, disability, and ancillary plans)
- Present benefits and retirement plans during weekly New Hire Orientation
- Answer employee and manager questions regarding benefits and eligibility
- Coordinate Open Enrollment, including employee communications and presentations
- Administer the 401(k) plan and support distributions and rollovers
- Handle benefits compliance filings (PCORI, Medicare Notices, Form 5500 support)
- Serve as COBRA administrator and assist with retiree medical/HRA plans
- Support wellness initiatives and identify process improvements
What We’re Looking For
- Associate’s degree or equivalent relevant experience in lieu of degree.
- 2+ years of health benefits administration experience preferred
- SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, or CEBS certification a plus
- Strong Microsoft Word and Excel skills
- Detail-oriented with strong customer service skills
- Valid Indiana Driver’s License and acceptable driving record

Pay: $47,382.40 - $54,489.76 per year
