About the Role:
Responsible for administering and promoting employee benefits programs and wellness initiatives to enhance the overall well-being and satisfaction of our workforce. This role requires strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for promoting healthy lifestyles.
Schedule: Monday – Friday; 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Minimum Qualifications:
Experience/Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field, or 5 years of experience in benefits administration in lieu of degree
- SHRM-CP/ SHRM-SCP, or obtain in a year after hire
- 5 years of experience in benefits administration, wellness program management, or related role. Strong knowledge of employee benefits regulations, including ERISA, ACA, FMLA, and ADA. Experience with leave of absence management and accommodations processes
- Proficient at partner programs (i.e.: MS Outlook, Word, Excel).
- Ability to cope with ambiguous, changing environment while under pressure in a calm
- Must be able to work as a team member and develop productive and cooperative working relationships with all members of the Palmetto Infusion team.
Essential Functions:
- Coordinate all aspects of employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other benefits.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for employee inquiries regarding benefits packages, eligibility, and enrollment processes.
- Collaborate with HR team and external vendors to ensure accurate and timely administration of benefits plans.
- Conduct regular audits of benefits data to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate wellness initiatives aimed at improving employee health and productivity.
- Organize and promote wellness activities, such as fitness challenges, nutrition workshops, and mental health seminars.
- Partner with external resources, such as healthcare providers and wellness professionals, to deliver engaging and impactful wellness programs.
- Analyze metrics and feedback to assess the effectiveness of wellness initiatives and make recommendations for improvement.:
- Administer leave of absence programs, including FMLA, state-mandated leaves, and other company-specific policies.
- Serve as a resource for employees and managers regarding leave policies, procedures, and documentation requirements.
- Coordinate ADA accommodations for employees with disabilities, ensuring compliance with legal regulations and company policies.
- Facilitate communication and collaboration between employees, managers, HR, and external partners involved in leave and accommodation processes.
- Prepare and review monthly allocations of benefit invoices, ensuring accuracy and adherence to budgetary guidelines.
- Collaborate with finance and accounting departments to reconcile benefit expenses and resolve any discrepancies.
- Track and analyze benefit costs, utilization rates, and trends to support strategic decision-making and budget planning.
- Assist with the development of cost-effective benefit strategies and initiatives to maximize the value of employee benefits offerings.
