Job Description

OVERVIEW

At Rosewood Red Sea, the Beverage Manager leads the development, execution and day-to-day refinement of the resort-wide beverage program across restaurants, bars, lounges, pool and beach venues, events and guest experiences.

This opportunity requires a beverage professional with strong technical knowledge, creativity, commercial discipline and the ability to translate international bar and beverage benchmarks into consistent resort-wide execution. The beverage program should feel distinctive, polished and aligned with the expectations of an ultra-luxury resort.

The successful candidate will support and execute an experiential beverage program, while developing bartenders, baristas and service teams through structured training, tastings and operational follow-up.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead the execution and continuous refinement of beverage programs across all resort venues and service areas.
Maintain consistency of beverage quality, presentation, recipes, service rituals and guest experience across the resort.
Support the development of cocktail, wine, coffee and non-alcoholic beverage programs aligned with each concept and the resort positioning.
Benchmark beverage standards against leading global bar practices, including World’s 50 Best Bars level references and international recognition standards.
Oversee structured training for bartenders, baristas and beverage associates, including tastings, technical development and service rituals.
Develop guest-facing beverage experiences, including cocktail classes, tastings, guest bartender programs and interactive activations.
Build strategic partnerships with beverage brands, suppliers and collaborators to support quality, visibility and commercial performance.
Monitor beverage cost, pricing, inventory, wastage, Micros integrity and revenue performance in coordination with Finance, Purchasing and Cost Control.
Conduct competitor and market surveys to maintain relevant pricing, positioning and product selection.
Lead, coach and develop beverage supervisors and associates while supporting succession planning and recognition opportunities.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

Minimum 3 to 5 years of progressive beverage experience in luxury hotels, resorts, internationally recognized bars or high-end restaurant groups.
Strong knowledge of non-alcoholic cocktails, spirits, wine, coffee, matcha and luxury beverage service rituals.
Experience supporting award-level, internationally benchmarked or high-profile beverage programs is highly preferred.
Strong network or working knowledge of beverage brands, suppliers, guest bartenders and industry collaborators.
Strong financial acumen, including beverage cost control, pricing, inventory management, supplier pricing and menu engineering.
Proven ability to train bartenders, baristas and service teams to a high technical and guest-facing standard.
Pre-opening experience in a luxury or ultra-luxury resort environment is highly preferred.
Creative, commercially aware and highly disciplined in standards, systems and execution.
