Beverage mixologist for cafe project

Matcha Vibes is a matcha-specialty café where matcha is the core product, not an add-on. We work with high-quality matcha and focus on thoughtful, well-balanced drinks.

We are looking for an experienced Mixologist to join us on a part-time, project-based basis exclusively for drink development.

This role is not for daily bar service. The focus is purely on creating, testing, and refining signature matcha-based beverages.

Scope of the project:

• Develop professional signature matcha drinks (hot & cold)

• Work with natural ingredients: syrups, infusions, botanicals, fruits, spices

• Ensure drinks are balanced, repeatable, and scalable for a café environment

• Refine flavor profiles, texture, sweetness, and presentation

• Provide clear recipes and preparation guidelines for barista execution

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a mixologist or beverage developer

• Strong understanding of flavor structure and drink balance

• Experience working with non-alcoholic or specialty beverages

• Familiarity with matcha preparation principles (temperature, bitterness control, texture)

• Ability to work independently and deliver within agreed timelines

Selected candidates will be invited to present their developed drinks for tasting and evaluation. Selection will be based on creativity, balance, professionalism, and alignment with our brand.

This is a part-time, project-only collaboration, with the possibility of future projects if the collaboration is successful.
