Beverage Server

Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and attentive Beverage Server to join our dynamic hospitality team. In this role, you will be the face of our establishment, providing exceptional service to guests while expertly handling beverage orders and ensuring a memorable dining experience. Duties

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements using reservation systems like OpenTable or similar platforms
• Take accurate beverage orders from guests, offering recommendations and upselling premium options to enhance their experience
• Use POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to process orders efficiently and accurately, ensuring proper cash handling and billing procedures
• Serve beverages promptly while maintaining a clean and organized workstation, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards
• Engage with guests to provide exceptional customer service, answer questions about menu items, and foster guest relations
• Clear tables, bus tables as needed, and assist with food delivery or food handling tasks when required in a bustling restaurant or nightclub setting
• Maintain knowledge of current menu offerings, specials, and wine or cocktail pairings to support sales goals

Experience

• Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially in fine dining or nightlife venues such as nightclubs or bars
• Familiarity with POS systems including Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable for reservations and order processing
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to manage guest relations professionally and courteously
• Experience with food handling, sanitation practices, and food safety regulations in the food industry
• Demonstrated ability in upselling beverages and enhancing sales through excellent service techniques
• Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and bill calculations
• Knowledge of kitchen operations or culinary experience is a plus but not required; a passion for hospitality is essential
