Lil T Cup Cafe is a locally owned, community-rooted café serving Hawaiʻi-inspired specialty drinks, coffee, tea, and brunch. Our mission centers on mental health awareness, celebrating neurodiversity, and creating a warm, welcoming, and inclusive space for our customers and team.

We are looking for an experienced Beverage Specialist who is passionate about creating quality drinks and memorable customer experiences. This is a hands-on position for someone who can work efficiently behind the bar, maintain consistency, and help support the growth of our beverage program.

Responsibilities

• Prepare espresso drinks, cold brews, matcha, teas, and specialty beverages
• Follow recipes and maintain consistent quality, portioning, and presentation
• Provide warm and attentive customer service
• Maintain a clean, organized, and properly stocked beverage station
• Clean and care for espresso machines, grinders, and other equipment
• Monitor inventory and communicate supply needs
• Follow opening, closing, cleaning, and food-safety procedures
• Help train and support new team members
• Work collaboratively with café leadership, front-of-house staff, and the kitchen team
• Remain calm, organized, and efficient during busy periods
• Help create a dependable, respectful, and positive work environment

Qualifications

• At least 1–2 years of barista experience
• Experience preparing espresso beverages and steaming milk
• Knowledge of matcha, tea, cold brew, or specialty beverages is a plus
• Strong customer-service and communication skills
• Dependable, organized, and able to take initiative
• Comfortable receiving feedback and following established recipes and procedures
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Available to work mornings and Saturdays
• Interested in growing with a locally owned café

Pay and Benefits

• $17.00 per hour plus tips
