Beverly Hills Territory Sales Manager Cord Blood Service OB/GYN

At StemCyte we strive for excellence, honesty, integrity and trust within our Sales Team. We are currently seeking a passionate, driven, self-motivated sales professional for our Beverly Hills territory. The ideal candidate should be hungry for success and determined to make their mark in the competitive Beverly Hills territory by driving strong sales growth.

As a Sales Representative you will travel to physician offices and hospitals to meet with OB/GYN doctors, nurses, and other medical staff. You will be responsible for effectively communicating the features and benefits that StemCyte provides to expectant families. You will articulate what differentiates StemCyte from competing cord blood banks. You will also interact and help educate expectant parents about cord blood banking.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced medical sales professional preferably with established business relationships with OB/GYN physicians in the Beverly Hills territory. Candidate must have a demonstrated track record of success and accomplishment with previous medical sales experience and must have the ability to develop long-term business partnerships with health care providers. An innate passion to make a difference in the lives of newborn babies and their families is a must.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage individual territory to grow sales and expand market share for StemCyte cord blood storage, tissue preservation and products
  • Develop and execute territory business plan that delivers strong sales results and achieves daily, weekly and monthly sales objectives and targets
  • Travel throughout territory to call on OB/GYN offices, hospitals, and birth centers
  • Promote StemCyte features and benefits to OB/GYN physicians and their staff through value-based conversations
  • Plan and organize daily sales call activities to optimize time management
  • Cultivate lasting professional relationships with all key OB/GYN physicians & staff and hospital Labor and Delivery nurses in designated territory
  • Develop and maintain proficiency in product, market, and applicable disease states and knowledge of competitors’ products and services
  • Demonstrate expertise as a Cord Blood Educator such that physicians will refer patients to you for consultation
  • Build lasting relationships with potential patients/customers while educating and motivating them to invest in their family’s future
  • Work strategically and be a true business owner of your territory
  • Generate sales leads for new business in all areas of opportunity and work with inside sales to maximize sales conversion
  • Be a team player with ability to collaborate on team projects
  • Participate in all sales team meetings, conference calls and team projects
  • Be positive and solution focused
  • Share key findings, successes, challenges and proposed solutions in team environment to serve as a learning source for the entire team
  • Operate with high integrity and follow all StemCyte policies and procedures
  • Create customer-based referral business to increase sales
  • Manage and maintain client data in Salesforce database
  • Maintain client and customer confidentiality
  • Represent StemCyte at local, regional and national meetings as required
  • Participate in continuing medical education and sales training

Education and Training:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
  • Outside sale experience
  • Medical sales experience preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $78,890.00 - $90,000.00 per year
