Responsibilities:
The Quality Assurance Coordinator is responsible for coordinating along with the Director of Risk Management, all performance improvement related processes within the hospital to include internal audits, reviews, investigations and other quality related items as necessary.

Qualifications:
Thorough knowledge of regulatory requirements, performance improvement and emergency management. Knowledge of quality management concepts and techniques. Knowledge of statistical tools and displays. Knowledge of external review organizations (i.e. Joint Commission, Public Health, etc.) Ability to work with all levels of staff. Ability to develop and maintain a professional, customer service-related profile with outside liaisons. Ability to use computers and software programs and have familiarity with Microsoft Office.
