Choice Recovery/Choice Health Integrated, operates two integrated behavioral health clinics in Phoenix & Mesa, is pleased to share an exciting and challenging opportunity for a BHT | Case Manager | Wellness Specialist to join our team. Wellness Specialist team members utilize their previous personal experience to promote and model an approach to life and recovery that benefits our clients. Responsibilities

A Wellness Specialist will participate as a member of the clinical team to mentor and provide recovery-based coaching for SUD clients related to their health and wellness goals; group facilitation; assist in developing plans and tools to create and maintain healthy living; focus on members pursing goals through direct 1:1 and group coaching on topics such as abstinence from mind altering chemicals, mindfulness and nutrition, health management, and supporting healthy interpersonal relationships. This is a full-time position, with hours that include Monday, Wednesday, & Thursday weeknights and Saturday morning.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma/GED and at least 1-year behavioral health experience
• Self-Identify as a Behavioral Health recipient in recovery for at least 1 – 3 years and/or first-hand experience with family members with serious mental illness and/or chemical dependency;
• Valid Arizona Driver’s License; may include light transportation of clients
• Must understand and utilize a recovery approach and philosophy;
• 1 or more years' experience facilitating recovery and SUD group lessons
• Exemplify great customer service and motivational skills;
• Good interpersonal and communication skills, evidenced by a non-judgmental approach, effective listening and positive interactions;
• Must be able to work on a computer and tablet in Microsoft Office and be able to enter notes into a EHR system;
• Flexibility to work at either location on occasion;
• Daily tasks will also include office management duties; applicants must be responsible, dependable and a the ability to pick up new tasks quickly.
