JOB SUMMARY:
King Solutions is launching the King Solutions Internship Program (KSIP) and seeking a Business Intelligence & Analytics Intern to join our BIA team this summer. This is a hands-on role where you will work with experienced data developers on production-quality projects that directly impact company decision-making.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Data Analysis: Write and optimize SQL queries to extract and analyze data from our warehouse.
- BI Development: Assist in building and maintaining live dashboards (Power BI) and reports.
- Exploratory Research: Support exploratory data analysis (EDA) to identify trends and process improvements.
- Documentation: Help document data definitions, metrics, and reporting logic for long-term reusability.
- Collaboration: Participate in daily team standups and present final project outcomes to BIA leadership.
- Other duties as assigned.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Current undergraduate junior/senior or graduate student in Computer Science, Data Science, Analytics, MIS, or a related field.
- Strong coursework or practical experience with SQL.
- Proficiency in Excel and analytical problem-solving.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred:
- Experience with Python or other programming languages.
- Exposure to BI tools like Power BI or Tableau.
- Knowledge of GitHub for version control.
- Interest in the Supply Chain or Logistics industry.
