Bicycle Mechanic

Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Bicycle Mechanic to join our Essex team. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and experience in bicycle maintenance and repair. This role involves diagnosing issues and performing repairs on all varieties of bicycles. Experience as a Bicycle Technician is preferred.

Duties

• Provide exceptional customer service.
• Conduct thorough inspections of bicycles to identify issues.
• Perform routine maintenance on a wide variety of bicycles.
• Maintain accurate records of services performed on each bicycle through our computer POS system.
• Explain repairs and maintenance needs to customers and staff.
• Stay updated on the latest bicycle technologies and repair techniques through our training portals.
• Adhere to safety protocols while working in the shop environment.

Requirements

• Experience as a Mechanic or Technician within the bicycle or similar industry.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to diagnose and repair various bicycle technologies
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members .
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing technologies in the bicycle field.
• Have a positive attitude.
