Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Bidding & Tender Specialist with extensive experience in managing and executing bids across government, private, public, and NGO sectors. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of tender processes, online bidding portals, and proposal management. They will play a critical role in identifying opportunities, preparing compliant bids, and maximizing the organization's success rate in securing contracts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and identify tender opportunities across government, private, public, and NGO sectors.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of bidding portals, government e-tendering platforms, and procurement regulations.
- Prepare, review, and submit bids, proposals, and quotations in compliance with tender requirements and deadlines.
- Coordinate with internal teams (finance, legal, operations) to gather required documentation and approvals.
- Ensure bids meet technical, financial, and regulatory compliance standards.
- Track the status of submitted bids and provide timely updates to management.
- Maintain a database of tenders, bids, outcomes, and key contacts.
- Develop and implement best practices and standard operating procedures for tender submissions.
- Analyze competitor bids, market trends, and client requirements to improve win rates.
- Assist in contract negotiations and clarifications with clients as required.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Procurement, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in bidding, tender management, or proposal preparation.
- Strong understanding of government, private, public, and NGO tender processes.
- Hands-on experience with online bidding portals and e-tendering platforms.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple bids simultaneously.
- Knowledge of legal, financial, and regulatory aspects of tenders is preferred.
Preferred Attributes:
- Experience in international tenders or multi-sector projects.
- Proficiency in MS Office, CRM, and tender tracking software.
- Strong analytical skills to evaluate bid feasibility and risk.
