Bike Technician / Bike Mechanic

You will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of bicycles and e-bikes. Your expertise will help customers enjoy safe, reliable rides while supporting our commitment to quality service.

This position is a great fit for someone who has strong bike repair experience, enjoys helping customers, and can work independently in a fast-paced shop environment. We’re looking for someone reliable, self-directed, and able to show up on time ready to work.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive bike repairs including brake adjustments, gear tuning, suspension servicing, wheel truing , and routine bike maintenance and tune-ups
• Diagnose mechanical issues and recommend the right repairs
• Work on brakes, gears, drivetrains, tires, chains, wheels, and other bike components
• Assemble new bikes and make sure they are safe and ready to ride
• Explain repairs and maintenance needs to customers in a clear, friendly way
• Help keep the service area clean, organized, and running smoothly
• Assist with retail sales and customer service by understanding customer needs

Requirements

• 2+ years of bike mechanic experience required
• Strong mechanical knowledge of e-bikes, bicycle repairs, tune-ups, and components
• Experience working on brakes, shifting, drivetrain adjustments, tire changes, and suspension systems
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Able to self-manage and stay productive without constant supervision
• Reliable, punctual, and able to show up on time consistently
• Comfortable working in a busy bike shop environment
• Ability to lift heavy bikes or parts safely during repairs or assembly tasks
• Passion for cycling with an active interest in bike maintenance and industry trends
• Positive attitude and willingness to be part of a team

Compensation

Pay is $18–$22 per hour, based on experience.
