Bilingual Admin Assistant
This is an hourly position working around 40 -45 hours Mon-Fri
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate and updated records of production and employee attendance within the harvesting department through the Workforce, ADS, and Cropsys systems to support the department's payroll process.
- Timely submission of relevant information to the Human Resources department and collaborate in maintaining personnel records.
- Organize and distribute paychecks promptly along with any verbal or written communication to employees.
- Provide support to harvesting staff, including initial training, performance monitoring, and on-site problem-solving.
- Offer general administrative support to the harvesting team and other departments as needed, including document management, scheduling weekly meetings, and preparing reports and presentations.
- Facilitate internal communication within the harvesting department between employees and supervisors.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards related to food safety and good agricultural practices.
- Collaborate with the harvesting supervisors to ensure quality standards are maintained during the harvesting process, conducting regular inspections and taking corrective actions, as necessary.
- Report any issues or incidents arising during the harvesting process to the supervisor, providing detailed information and suggestions for resolution.
Education/Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Previous experience in administrative roles
- Ability to communicate orally (English & Spanish).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products
- Strong analysis and problem-solving skills
- Must have strong communication skills, both written and verbal along with strong organizational skills.
