bilingual (Arabic - English) SEN Teacher

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) in collaboration with the Inclusion Team, teachers, and parents.
  • Provide targeted support and intervention for students with special educational needs.
  • Adapt teaching strategies, resources, and activities to meet individual student needs.
  • Monitor and assess students’ academic, social, and behavioral progress.
  • Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation related to student progress.
  • Support students in developing confidence, independence, and learning skills.
  • Work closely with classroom teachers to ensure effective inclusion and differentiation.
  • Communicate effectively with parents in both Arabic and English regarding student progress and support strategies.
  • Participate in meetings, case discussions, and professional development activities.
  • Promote a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment for all students.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Special Education, Education, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Professional qualification/certification in Special Educational Needs is preferred.
  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience working with students with SEN in a school environment.
  • Experience developing and implementing IEPs and individualized learning strategies.
  • Strong knowledge of SEN practices, inclusion frameworks, and differentiated instruction.
  • Excellent communication skills in both Arabic and English (written and spoken).
