About the Role
We are looking for a passionate and experienced Bilingual Assistant Retail Store Manager (English/Spanish) to lead daily operations in a fast-paced grocery environment serving a diverse and primarily Hispanic community. This position is ideal for someone with grocery or retail experience who wants to grow into a Store Manager role while serving a bilingual community.
What You’ll Do
- Support the Store Manager in daily supermarket operations
- Supervise associates and department leads during assigned shifts
- Ensure shelves are stocked, products are fresh, and the store is clean
- Assist with inventory control, ordering, and shrink reduction
- Deliver excellent customer service and support issue resolution
- Help train new employees and support team development
- Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and company standards
- Act as Store Manager when needed
What We’re Looking For
- Bilingual required: fluent in English & Spanish (spoken and written)
- 1–3 years of experience in a supermarket or grocery supervisory role
- Strong customer service and leadership skills
- Desire to grow and advance within the company
- High school diploma required
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
