Bilingual Carpenter/Laborer

Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Bilingual Carpenter/Laborer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will utilize your carpentry skills and construction knowledge to assist with a variety of projects, ensuring quality craftsmanship and efficient workflow. Fluency in both English and Spanish is essential to effectively communicate with team members, clients, and vendors. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, from remodeling and restoration to new construction, while gaining valuable hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

• Assist with framing, trim carpentry, door hanging, cabinet installation, and siding projects using hand tools and power tools
• Read blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to accurately execute project specifications
• Perform concrete forming, rebar installation, masonry work, and roofing tasks as needed
• Conduct restoration activities including water damage remediation, mold remediation, plastering, stucco application, and water damage restoration
• Operate CNC machines for fabrication and assembly tasks in manufacturing or remodeling settings
• Handle heavy lifting safely while adhering to safety protocols on construction sites
• Install fixtures, flooring, tiles, and perform general handyman duties such as caulking, painting, and electrical or plumbing support

Skills

• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish for effective communication on-site and with clients
• Strong knowledge of construction estimating and project schematics
• Skilled in various carpentry disciplines including trim carpentry, frame carpentry, metal stud framing, and woodworking
• Experience with hand tools (saws, hammers, chisels), power tools (drills, saws), and CNC machinery
• Familiarity with construction site safety procedures and OSHA standards
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately for precise project execution
• Knowledge of restoration industry practices such as mold remediation and water damage repair
• Capable of heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks required in construction environments
• Experience with fixture installation, drywall finishing (plastering), caulking, siding installation, roofing systems, masonry work, tile laying, flooring installation, electrical or plumbing support preferred
• Demonstrated ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in fast-paced settings
