Bilingual Customer Solutions Representative (Spanish) - Hybrid

Job Summary

This role focuses on fostering customer loyalty and is a key part of growing our business while serving the purchasing needs of foodservice professionals worldwide.

Responsibilities

As a Bilingual Customer Service Representative, you will:

  • Communicate with Spanish and English speaking customers through phone, email and chat about their order status and available products
  • Provide friendly, efficient and accurate solutions for customers with the goal of customer loyalty and increased business sales
  • Listen to and analyze customers' issues, investigate problems, and provide strategic solutions in both English and Spanish
  • Ensure that customers always have the most complete and up-to-date information about the status of their orders
  • Communicate product or service issues as they arise within the Customer Solutions department, as well as, with any additional, relevant departments
  • Foster a team-oriented environment by maintaining a positive, professional attitude in all correspondence both within and outside the company
  • Be willing to remain flexible and adapt to change as we continue to grow as a company
  • Take initiative and use strategic thinking to ensure that The Restaurant Store is the leader in the online foodservice industry
  • Learn about the foodservice industry and the products that we sell
  • Guide customers through the website, while providing online shopping assistance and product help

Physical Requirements

  • Work is performed while sitting/standing and interfacing with a personal computer.
  • Requires the ability to communicate effectively using speech, vision, and hearing.
  • Requires the regular use of hands for simple grasping and fine manipulations.
  • Requires occasional bending, squatting, crawling, climbing, and reaching.
  • Requires the ability to occasionally lift, carry, push, or pull medium weights, up to 50lbs.

Remote Work Qualifications

  • Access to a reliable and secure high-speed internet connection. Cable or fiber internet connections (at least 75mbps download/10mbps upload) are preferred, as satellite connections often cannot support the technologies used to perform day-to-day tasks.
  • Access to a home router and modem.
  • A dedicated home office space that is noise- and distraction-free. The space should have strong wireless connection or a wired Ethernet connection (wired connection is preferred, if possible).
  • A valid, physical address (apartment, suite, etc.). PO Boxes are not supported, as a physical address is required for you to receive your computer equipment.
  • The desire and ability to work and communicate with other team members via chat, webcam, etc.
  • Legal residents of one of the following states: (AK, AL, AR, AZ, CT, DE, FL, GA, IA, ID, IN, KS, KY, LA, MD, ME, MI, MN, MO, MS, NC, ND, NH, NJ, NM, NV, OH, OK, PA, SC, SD, TN, TX, UT, VA, VT, WI, WV, or WY). H-1B Visa Sponsorship Not Available, W2 only.

Experience

A college degree or work experience in a related field is preferred

Education
