Job Overview

TRC Concrete is seeking a dependable, organized, and fast-paced Ready Mix Concrete Dispatcher to coordinate concrete deliveries, manage driver schedules, communicate with batch plants, and ensure exceptional customer service.

The ideal candidate has strong communication skills, logistics experience, and the ability to manage multiple moving parts in a high-demand construction environment.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and dispatch ready-mix concrete deliveries to customer job sites
• Coordinate with drivers, batch plants, and customers to ensure on-time delivery
• Monitor truck movement, job progress, and daily yardage goals
• Assign trucks based on location, plant availability, and delivery timing
• Manage short loads, multi-load pours, and schedule changes
• Communicate ETAs, delays, or jobsite updates to customers
• Maintain accurate dispatch logs, tickets, and driver paperwork
• Resolve scheduling conflicts, breakdowns, or delivery issues quickly
• Support profitability through efficient truck utilization

Qualifications

• Dispatch, logistics, trucking, or construction coordination experience preferred
• Ready mix concrete industry experience strongly preferred
• Knowledge of PSI, slump, and concrete mix types is a plus
• Excellent phone, communication, and customer service skills
• Strong multitasking and organizational abilities
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
• Proficiency with spreadsheets, dispatch software, or GPS tracking systems

Preferred Experience

• Ready Mix Dispatch: 1–3 years
