We are seeking a dynamic and bilingual Driver Recruiter to join our team and drive our talent acquisition efforts for professional drivers. In this energetic role, you will be responsible for sourcing, engaging, and onboarding qualified driver candidates who could be fluent in both English or Spanish. Responsibilities
- Develop and execute targeted recruiting strategies to attract bilingual driver candidates through social media management, cold calling, and lead generation activities.
- Conduct comprehensive interviews, evaluate candidate skills, and assess compatibility with company standards using effective communication skills.
- Manage the entire recruitment lifecycle utilizing ATS (Applicant Tracking System) platforms such as iCIMS or Workday to streamline candidate tracking and reporting.
- Negotiate employment contracts, salary packages, and benefits with prospective drivers while ensuring compliance with employment & labor law.
- Build strong relationships with internal teams, including HRIS and talent management departments, to align recruitment efforts with organizational goals.
- Conduct research on market trends and labor laws to optimize sourcing strategies and maintain competitive advantage in driver recruitment.
- Coordinate employee orientation sessions, onboarding processes, and ongoing training & development programs to support new hires’ integration and success.
Experience
- Proven experience in technical recruiting or talent acquisition within transportation or logistics industries.
- Demonstrated success in sourcing candidates through social media management, cold calling, and leveraging ATS tools like Salesforce or UltiPro.
- Strong negotiation skills combined with excellent communication skills to manage candidate relationships effectively.
- Familiarity with HR sourcing platforms such as Kronos, Paychex, PeopleSoft, or ADP is preferred.
- Knowledge of employment & labor law regulations relevant to driver employment practices.
- Experience conducting interviews, employee evaluations, and managing employee relations processes.
- Ability to research market trends and utilize HRIS systems for data-driven decision-making.
