Bilingual (English/ Spanish) RDA - Registered Dental Assistant

Join our friendly pediatric dental team! We’re seeking a licensed RDA (fresh out of school OR experienced) to work with children to provide chairside assistance, take digital x-rays, assist with behavior management and preventive care (cleanings, fluoride, sealants), maintain infection control, and prepare child-friendly operatories.

We’re a warm, family-focused pediatric dental practice serving infants through teens, including adults. We do not use papoose boards.

We are looking for a licensed Registered Dental Assistant who enjoys working with children and families. The ideal candidate is patient, energetic, skilled at chairside pediatric assistance, and committed to creating a positive dental experience for young patients.

Key Responsibilities

• RDA must be comfortable translating patient treatment options between the family and doctor in Spanish (as needed)
• Chairside assisting for preventive and restorative pediatric procedures
• Administer and monitor nitrous oxide sedation under dentist direction and provide post-op instructions to caregivers
• Prepare and child-proof operatories; maintain sterilization and infection-control protocols (OSHA/CDC)
• Provide oral hygiene instruction and age-appropriate homecare education to patients and caregivers in english and or spanish
• Chart treatment accurately in the electronic record and assist with treatment planning workflow

Preferred Qualifications

• The candidate must be bilingual
• RDA license must be valid and active (PROOF WILL BE REQUESTED)
• We currently use OpenDental software
