BILINGUAL FLOATER TEACHER

Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated BILINGUAL FLOATER TEACHER to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this versatile role, you will provide high-quality instruction and support across multiple classrooms, ensuring a nurturing, engaging, and inclusive environment for young learners. Your bilingual skills will enable you to connect with diverse families and foster language development in both English and Spanish. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with children at various developmental stages, from toddlers to preschoolers, while promoting literacy, social-emotional growth, and foundational skills essential for lifelong learning. As a floater, you will play a key role in maintaining classroom continuity, supporting teachers, and enriching the overall educational experience.

Responsibilities

• Support classroom management by guiding children’s behavior through positive reinforcement and effective strategies
• Collaborate with lead teachers to plan engaging lessons focused on literacy education, math, physical education, and social skills
• Provide direct care and supervision for children, including toddler care and preschool activities, ensuring their safety and well-being
• Adapt teaching methods to accommodate children with special needs or those requiring early intervention services
• Maintain open communication with families regarding child welfare, progress, and classroom activities

Skills

• Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish with excellent communication skills for diverse audiences
• Strong background in curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom management techniques
• Experience working with children across various age groups, including toddlers and preschooler
• Ability to adapt teaching approaches for students with different learning needs and abilities
• Proficiency in using standardized testing tools, tutoring methods, and physical education activities
• Excellent organizational skills for managing classroom routines and documentation related to child welfare
• Compassionate attitude towards childcare responsibilities within daycare or private school environments
