Key Responsibilities:
- Draft, review, and file diverse petitions, covering immigrant and non-immigrant visa petitions, adjustment of status applications, consular processing, waivers, asylum, employment-based, investment-based cases, and naturalization.
- Collect facts and documentation in support of petitions.
- Draft correspondence on procedural matters, status updates, and supportive letters for petitions.
- Conduct legal research.
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients and potential clients.
- Duties include client interviews, preparation of forms such as Family Petitions/Adjustment of Status (I-485), N-400, I-90, I-539, I-130, I-131, Asylum Applications
- Waivers: I-601, I-601A, I-212, Consular Processes, I-765, Court Motions,Immigration Detainee Proceedings, DACA Renewals, U Visa, VAWAFAMILY/CRIMINAL LAW.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Familiarity with immigration procedures and processes.
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, staying focused on deadlines.
- Capability to work independently on multiple projects.
- Exceptional organizational and proofreading skills.
- Detail-oriented with a professional demeanor.
- Trustworthy, with excellent references.
- Must be bilingual, with proficiency in English, Hindi or Urdu or Gujarati.
- Team player with strong computer and internet research skills.
- Proficiency in office software such as MS Office, CLIO, CERENADE or similar case management, Adobe Reader, Microsoft Teams, Zoom, etc.
