Who We're Looking For

Bailey & Galyen is looking for a caring and highly motivated, Bilingual Immigration Paralegal to support Immigration attorneys in our Dallas, TX office.

Requires 3 years of current Immigration experience.

Bilingual (English/Spanish)

What You'll Be Doing

  • Answer phones calls for potential and current clients
  • Organize the files
  • Draft forms in Immigrant Professional software program
  • Prepare forms to review and sign with client and attorney
  • Make copies of the reviewed and signed forms that will be mailed to USCIS
  • Scan mailed copies and associate in Needles and Immigration Professional
  • Sort and scan mail received from USCIS or NVC into Needles and client's file.
  • Work with clients on drafting statements for court and USCIS cases
  • Draft applications for relief in court, and prepare packets for court
  • Notify clients of upcoming appointments with USCIS or any RFE (request for further evidence)
  • Keep attorney informed of any RFE from USCIS
  • Follow up with client on any documents or evidence needed before deadline date.
  • Call USCIS customer service number to check status on applications that are passed the processing time
  • Call NVC (NATIONAL VISA CENTER) to check status on case.
  • Close file in Needles and LMS
  • Notarize documents, if Notary.
