We are currently seeking a bilingual (Spanish/English) paralegal to join our Removal Defense Team. Who we are seeking:
We are seeking a dedicated and proactive paralegal to join our dynamic legal team, committed to delivering exceptional support to both our clients and staff while navigating time-sensitive matters before USCIS and the Immigration Court. This role involves close collaboration with attorneys in preparing comprehensive immigration filings, including EOIR-42A and 42B applications, asylum claims, adjustment of status applications, and I-601 waivers. The paralegal will also be responsible for drafting motions to terminate proceedings, supported by discretionary evidence, and maintaining clear, professional communication with clients throughout the process. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with the lead attorney and legal assistant in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.
Experience:
Minimum 1 year of immigration removal defense paralegal experience preferred.
Education:
High School degree required
Skills and Abilities:
Bilingual in English and Spanish required.
Capable of handling a large volume of cases.
Organized and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Strong follow-through on tasks and meeting internal and external deadlines without reminders.
Team-oriented: willing to share and teach areas of knowledge.
Fluent in Microsoft Office
Excellent customer service
Reliable and trustworthy
Ability to work independently as well as within a team
Benefits:
Medical insurance eligible after 60 days. Full health insurance coverage includes dental, vision, and telehealth appointment availability.
10 days accrued PTO per year (PTO increases with seniority)

Salary: From $25-$30 per hour commensurate with experience.
