Bilingual Key Account Representative

Job Summary

Create and retain key customers by creating strong relationships and nurture the accounts over time to achieve established sales targets.
Essential Job Functions

  • Ensure profitable sales volume and strategic objective targets are met for the assigned accounts
  • Compile sales and profitability reports on account progress, goals, and forecasts
  • Develop a complete understanding of key account needs
  • Participate in regular sales reviews with customers as well as Senior Management
  • Service customers with excellence by addressing key clients’ needs and issues by developing customized solutions
  • Coordinate delivery of truckload or large partial orders when required
  • Supervise and assure execution of sales programs at store level
  • Negotiate product sales distributions
  • New product customer presentations and submission of new item paperwork
  • Submit customer price change forms
  • Collaborate with sales team to maximize profit by up-selling and cross-selling
  • Coordinate customer marketing programs internally with all departments
  • Meet all client needs and deliverables according to proposed timelines
  • Expand relationships and establish new customer relationships
  • Provide good monthly and annual sales projections or forecasting for all product lines
  • Represent the company by attending trade shows and conferences when necessary
  • Monitor market conditions, product innovations, and competitors' products, prices, and sales
  • Obtain and submit all necessary documentation and credit information for new prospective customers.
  • Misc. duties as assigned

Educational and Skills Requirements

· Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, sales, or relevant field preferred

· Minimum of three (3) years of related work experience in sales, key account management, or relevant field

· Bilingual English & Spanish, required

· Results driven and upbeat positive attitude

· Excellent interpersonal relationship skills

· Must have excellent verbal and written communications skills - must be a listener, a presenter, and a people-person

· Strong negotiation skills with ability to follow-through on client deals

· Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently

· Punctuality, accuracy, attention to detail and highly organized work habits

· Basic computer skills with experience with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite with emphasis on superior Excel skills

Physical Demands and Work Environment

The work is performed in a office and warehouse setting with a normal noise level. This job frequently requires the employee to travel; drive; stand; walk; sit; use hands; climb stairs; balance; stoop; kneel; read; talk or hear. Specific vision abilities include close vision and the ability to adjust focus. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. The employee should never attempt to lift more than 50 pounds.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
