Job Summary:
Educational Solutions is seeking a passionate, caring, and highly effective Kindergarten Teacher to join our elementary team. This role is ideal for an educator who thrives in a collaborative, student-focused environment and is committed to laying the foundation for lifelong learning. The Kindergarten Teacher will create a nurturing classroom community that supports academic, social, and emotional development aligned with Ohio Learning Standards and the Science of Reading.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and maintain a positive, safe, and engaging learning environment
- Deliver standards-aligned instruction in literacy, math, science, and social studies
- Utilize structured literacy practices and phonics-based instruction in alignment with the Science of Reading
- Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners, including English Learners and students with IEPs
- Build strong relationships with students and families to support learning at home and school
- Administer and use formative and benchmark assessments to guide instruction
- Collaborate with grade-level team, intervention staff, and school leadership to support student growth
- Maintain accurate student records, including attendance, progress reports, and parent communication
- Participate in ongoing professional development and school events
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or Elementary Education
- Valid Ohio teaching license (P-3 or K–5)
- Knowledge of early literacy and numeracy development
- Strong classroom management and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Commitment to equity, inclusion, and high expectations for all learners
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience teaching in an early childhood or kindergarten setting
- Familiarity with Ohio’s Early Learning Standards and Kindergarten Readiness Assessment (KRA)
- Training in Science of Reading-aligned curricula and instructional practices
