Duties

• Develop and implement dynamic, age-appropriate curricula that incorporate literacy education, math, physical education, and Montessori methods to meet diverse student needs.
• Create a positive classroom atmosphere by managing behavior effectively and employing best practices in behavior management and classroom management strategies.
• Support early intervention efforts by identifying developmental milestones and collaborating with specialists to tailor instruction for children with special education needs.
• Plan engaging lessons that promote childhood development, social skills, and academic readiness while integrating bilingual instruction to enhance language acquisition.
• Foster strong communication with students, parents, and colleagues to ensure a collaborative approach to child welfare and educational success.
• Maintain detailed records of student progress through assessments and standardized testing results; utilize data to inform instructional adjustments.
• Lead classroom activities that promote physical activity, social-emotional learning, and cognitive development in a safe and nurturing environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience working with children in early childhood education settings such as daycare, preschool, or private schools.
• Demonstrated expertise in curriculum development, lesson planning, classroom management, and teaching physical education or tutoring.
• Bilingual proficiency in [specified languages], with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse families and staff.
• Knowledge of special education practices, early intervention strategies, and childhood development principles.

Pay: $14.25 - $16.00 per hour
