Overview
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in mechanical engineering principles and demonstrate proficiency in various engineering tools and methodologies. This role involves designing, analyzing, and improving mechanical systems while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions.
Duties
- Develop and execute project schedules to ensure timely completion of engineering tasks.
- Conduct root cause analysis to identify issues and implement effective solutions.
- Design and analyze systems using programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and other automation technologies.
- Engage in quantum engineering projects, applying advanced concepts to develop cutting-edge solutions.
- Utilize GD&T principles in the creation of detailed schematics and technical drawings.
- Employ SolidWorks and Creo for 3D modeling and mechanical design tasks.
- Ensure compliance with ASME codes & standards throughout the engineering process.
- Collaborate on manufacturing processes, utilizing mechanical knowledge to enhance product quality and efficiency.
- Perform simulations using Simulink, LabVIEW, and MATLAB for system design validation.
- Apply Arduino for prototyping and testing new designs, ensuring functionality meets specifications.
- Draft technical documentation and reports to communicate design processes and results effectively.
- Utilize CNC machining techniques for precision manufacturing of components.
- Conduct Finite Element Analysis (FEA) to assess structural integrity under various conditions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Proficiency in CAD software, particularly SolidWorks and Creo.
- Strong understanding of mechanical design principles and practices.
- Familiarity with project scheduling tools and techniques.
- Experience with root cause analysis methodologies.
- Knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs) is preferred.
- Understanding of quantum engineering concepts is a plus.
- Ability to apply GD&T standards effectively in design work.
- Experience with manufacturing processes and system design principles.
- Proficiency in simulation software such as Simulink, LabVIEW, or MATLAB is desirable.
- Familiarity with Arduino programming for prototyping applications is an advantage.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $90,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
