Bilingual Medical Assistant & Scribe (English/Spanish)

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Bilingual Medical Assistant/Scribe to join our fast-paced clinical team. This dual-role position is essential for providing high-quality care to our diverse patient population by combining clinical support with real-time medical documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Patient Intake & Vitals: Greet patients, verify visit purposes, and accurately measure and record vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, and temperature.
• Room & Procedure Prep: Prepare examination rooms to ensure they are clean and stocked; assist providers with prepping and performing minor clinical procedures.
• Medical Scribing: Accompany the provider during exams to transcribe medical histories, physical findings, diagnoses, and treatment plans directly into the Electronic Health Record (EHR).
• Bilingual Translation: Act as a bridge for Spanish-speaking patients, explaining treatment procedures and provider instructions to ensure clear communication.
• Clinic Maintenance: Maintain a safe environment by cleaning and sanitizing exam rooms between patient visits.
• Administrative Support: Assist with scheduling follow-up appointments and managing patient records within the EHR system.

Qualifications

• Fluency in Spanish and English is required (Verbal and Written).
• Strong understanding of medical terminology (or a quick learner).
• Exceptional typing speed and accuracy.
• Professional demeanor and a high level of empathy for patient care.
• Previous experience as a scribe or in a medical setting is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate.

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
