BILINGUAL Medical Assistant with EXPERIENCED CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS Needed

Open position for full-time Bilingual (english/spanish speaking) Medical Assistant for one of the top Podiatric facilities in Central Florida. Seeking dedicated, reliable employee who is friendly, respectful, and looking for long-term commitment. Must be a fast learner, have exceptional grammar and computer skills along with patience and integrity for the company.

**** Must be BILINGUAL (able to read and speak English and Spanish), must have minimum of 1 year experience in medical/customer service, AND a high school diploma or equivalent in order to qualify **** We are looking for someone that can handle any and all patient types. Strong customer service skills is the driving motivator with this job selection****

Must have reliable transportation and be willing to travel between3 locations (Winter Haven and Lakeland with occasionally Davenport ). Hours include 745am - 5pm (or later depending on patient load).

Daily job responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Assisting physician with patients for treatment and surgical procedures

- CPT and ICD knowledge for charting purposes and billing protocols

- Knowledge of the foot and ankle anatomy including common podiatric issues and the terms associated with podiatry

- Debridement of toenails / laser procedures

- Pharmaceutical knowledge

- Office procedure/surgeries

- Xrays / Autoclave

- Electronic Medical Records maintenance

- MIPS/Meaningful Use documentation/E-prescribing

- Answering of phones/incoming emails

- Engaging with staff and other patients
