Position Summary

Connections That Matter, Inc. is seeking a Bilingual (Spanish-speaking) Mental Health Therapist / Clinical Assessor to provide comprehensive clinical assessments and outpatient psychotherapy services.

This role includes conducting diagnostic evaluations and delivering therapy services across telehealth, office-based, and community-based settings, with telehealth as a primary modality.

This is a 1099 contractual position offering flexibility, competitive compensation, and opportunities for professional growth within a mission-driven organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments, including diagnostic evaluations and treatment recommendations
• Provide individual, family, and group outpatient therapy using evidence-based and trauma-informed approaches
• Deliver services via telehealth, office, home, school, and community-based settings as appropriate
• Develop, implement, and update individualized treatment plans
• Monitor client progress and adjust services based on clinical needs
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members, caregivers, schools, and community providers
• Maintain timely, accurate, and compliant documentation (assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, billing)
• Ensure compliance with Medicaid, COMAR, and CTM standards
• Adhere to all ethical and professional guidelines

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related field
• Active Maryland license: LMSW, LCSW-C, LGPC, or LCPC
• Minimum 2 years of clinical experience (assessments and psychotherapy)
• Experience working with children, adolescents, and/or adults
• Strong clinical judgment and organizational skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Comfortable with telehealth platforms and electronic health records (EHR)
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with a team
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) – REQUIRED

• Hybrid: telehealth, community-based, and optional office-based services
• Flexible scheduling (daytime, evening, and limited weekend availability)
• Telehealth is the primary service modality
