Bilingual Middle School Teacher (9-12) Math, Science or Social Studies

Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Bilingual Middle School Teacher to inspire and educate students in grades 9 through 12 in Math, Science, or Social Studies. Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards for Math, Science, or Social Studies, incorporating modern learning technology and instructional design principles.
  • Deliver engaging lessons that cater to diverse learning styles, ensuring clarity and understanding of complex concepts such as Trigonometry, Geometry, Calculus, Organic Chemistry, Biochemistry, Genetics, Molecular Biology, Discrete Math, and Differential Equations.
  • Manage classroom behavior proactively through effective classroom management strategies and behavior management techniques to create a positive learning environment.
  • Assess student progress regularly through standardized testing, formative assessments, and project-based evaluations; provide constructive feedback to support continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development, instructional strategies, and integration of library services to enrich the educational experience.
  • Mentor students academically and personally by providing guidance on research projects, tutoring sessions, academic advising, and higher education pathways.
  • Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and behavioral reports; ensure compliance with school policies and educational standards.
  • Engage with parents and guardians through conferences and communication channels to discuss student progress and address individual needs.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field; advanced degrees or certifications in subject-specific areas such as Math or Science are preferred.
  • Proven classroom experience teaching middle or high school students in a bilingual setting; experience working with students with special education needs is advantageous.
  • Strong knowledge of subject matter including Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Calculus, Organic Chemistry, Cell Biology, Microbiology, Genetics, Molecular Biology, Discrete Math, and related scientific research techniques.
  • Familiarity with learning technology tools such as digital classrooms, educational software platforms, and online research resources.
  • Demonstrated ability in curriculum development, lesson planning, instructional design, and assessment strategies aligned with educational standards.
  • Excellent communication skills in both languages; ability to effectively engage students from diverse backgrounds.
  • Experience with classroom management techniques that promote positive behavior and an inclusive environment.

Pay: $70,075.00 - $114,875.00 per year
