Onsite HR Coordinator
Job Summary
The Onsite HR Coordinator serves as the primary human resources point of contact at a client location. This role is responsible for day-to-day HR operations, employee relations, onboarding, attendance and compliance tracking, and coordination between the workforce, client management, and corporate HR. The position requires strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage a fast-paced onsite environment.
Key Responsibilities Employee Relations & Support
- Serve as the onsite HR representative for all employee inquiries, concerns, and issues
- Maintain a professional, approachable presence to foster positive employee relations
- Address attendance, punctuality, conduct, and performance concerns in accordance with company policy
- Escalate complex employee relations matters to corporate HR as appropriate
Onboarding & Orientation
- Coordinate and conduct new hire onboarding and orientation sessions
- Verify completion of pre-employment requirements (I-9, background checks, drug screening, etc.)
- Ensure employees understand company policies, safety procedures, and client expectations
Attendance & Workforce Management
- Track daily attendance, tardiness, call-offs, and timekeeping discrepancies
- Prepare attendance reports for client leadership and internal management
- Assist with shift scheduling and workforce coverage as needed
Compliance & Documentation
- Ensure compliance with company policies, labor laws, and client-specific requirements
- Maintain accurate employee files and HR documentation
- Support audits, inspections, and compliance reviews
Client & Management Coordination
- Act as a liaison between employees, client supervisors, and corporate HR
- Participate in client meetings regarding staffing levels, performance, and operational needs
- Provide regular updates on workforce trends, issues, and improvements
Recruitment Support (as applicable)
- Assist with onsite recruiting, interviewing, and hiring events
- Coordinate candidate start dates and onboarding logistics
- Support retention initiatives and employee engagement efforts
Qualifications Required
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1–3 years of experience in HR, staffing, recruiting, or employee relations
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Preferred
- Experience in staffing, manufacturing, warehouse, or high-volume environments
- Knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) required

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
