The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care while assisting the orthodontist during various procedures. This position requires a strong understanding of dental terminology and the ability to work effectively with patients of all ages.
Duties
- Assist the orthodontist during patient examinations and procedures (bonding braces/Invisalign attachments, braces adjustments, braces removal) ensuring a smooth workflow.
- Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment following aseptic techniques.
- Take orthodontic records such as iTero Scanning, Images, and X-rays as needed for diagnostic purposes.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
- Maintain accurate patient records
- Cloud 9 Software
- Collaborate with the team to provide high-quality customer care in a friendly environment.
Skills
The successful candidate should possess the following skills:
- Proficient in dental/orthodontic terminology.
- Excellent customer service.
- Experience or knowledge in pediatrics to effectively communicate with younger patients.
- Competence in X-ray procedures and safety protocols.
- iTero scanning
- Strong background in dental /orthodontic assisting techniques.
- Knowledge of aseptic technique to ensure patient safety.
- Bilingual in Spanish/English
