Job Summary

Shamis & Gentile is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Personal Injury Paralegal/Pre-Litigation Case Manger to join our dynamic Personal Injury team. In this fully remote role, you will be the primary point of contact for prospective clients, responsible for managing case files, educating and guiding clients through the injury claims process, preparing pre-litigation documents and demands, obtaining, organizing, and analyzing case-related documentation and evidence, and coordinating with case-related providers. Your meticulous attention to detail, exceptional organizational and time-management skills, and ability to communicate intelligently, professionally, empathetically, — and with experience — is crucial. Particularly within Texas and/or Florida.

Key Responsibilities:

Under the guidance of the department's managing partner, you will:

  • Open and manage case files, ensuring all information is accurately documented and organized.
  • Collect, organize, and maintain case-related evidence and supporting documentation.
  • Guide clients through the injury claims process from intake to settlement, keeping them informed about case progress and helping them understand how claims are evaluated, as well as the likely economic impact of the decisions they face throughout the representation.
  • Track and monitor treatment; review and evaluate medical reports, billing statements, and insurance ledgers.
  • Request and process incident reports, insurance disclosures and ledgers, medical records, medical bills, and other key documents.
  • Respond to information requests from clients and third parties.
  • Draft letters of representation, settlement demands, settlement scenarios, and other critical communications.

Qualifications

  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) REQUIRED
  • At least three (3) years of experience as a personal injury paralegal case manager is required.
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, capable of managing multiple tasks efficiently
  • Ability to work independently in a remote setting, demonstrating self-discipline and time management skills.
  • Experience using Salesforce is a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
