Bilingual Preschool Teacher and Director

We invite you to join Mi Mundo Preschool. An Art, Spanish and play based preschool. We are seeking for a Bilingual Teacher and Director, who inspires young learners and lead a dynamic team dedicated to early childhood development. This role combines hands-on teaching with administrative leadership, creating an enriching environment that fosters curiosity, growth, and bilingual proficiency. You will be at the forefront of curriculum development, classroom management, and child welfare, ensuring a safe, engaging, and supportive space for children to thrive.

Duties

• Lead classroom activities that promote childhood development, social-emotional skills, behavior management, and early intervention strategies.
• Oversee daily classroom management to ensure a safe, inclusive environment that supports toddlers’ care and preschoolers’ learning needs.
• Manage administrative responsibilities including staff scheduling, parent communication, child welfare protocols, and compliance with childcare regulations.
• Foster strong relationships with families through transparent communication about child development milestones and educational goals.

Skills

• Extensive experience in early childhood education with a focus on preschool settings and daycare environments.
• Strong classroom management skills coupled with expertise in behavior management
• Knowledge of childhood development principles and early intervention techniques to support diverse learner needs.
• Excellent communication skills for engaging with children, parents, staff, and community partners effectively.
• Familiarity with State licensing and requirements.
• Demonstrated leadership, positive attitude and a team player.

Position Start Date: August 2026

Requirements:

• Fluent English (spoken and written)
• Excellent Spanish speaker
• Must have all ECE units for the director position
• Experience working in the classroom, managing a team and overseeing the physical environment needs.
• Health and Safety training certifcate
• CPR and First Aid-
• Minimum 2 years of experience as Director/ director assistant.
• Clear background check
