Summary: Mystis Adult and Family Services is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Bilingual Eligibility Specialist to support our social service programs from a remote setting. The ideal candidate will be fluent in both English and Spanish and committed to facilitating access to our services for diverse communities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess client eligibility for services based on financial, medical, and social information.
• Efficiently process applications and maintain accurate records of client interactions.
• Communicate clearly with clients in both Spanish and English to explain program requirements and status updates.
• Collaborate with social workers, case managers, and other team members to ensure comprehensive client support.
• Utilize organizational databases and software to manage client data and prepare reports.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all legal and regulatory compliance requirements.
• Participate in ongoing professional development to stay informed about changes in relevant legislation and community resources.
• Address and resolve eligibility inquiries and discrepancies.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; further education or certification in social services, human services, or related fields is a plus.
• Proficiency in both Spanish and English, with strong communication skills.
• Prior experience in customer service, administration, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
• Ability to organize and prioritize work effectively.
• Strong computer literacy and familiarity with digital communication tools.
• Understanding of confidentiality and data protection regulations.

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
