Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Clover, ensuring clear communication with kitchen staff
• Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
• Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness
• Manage guest relations by addressing questions, resolving concerns promptly, and ensuring a positive atmosphere
• Assist with food handling, sanitation, bussing tables, and supporting kitchen staff as needed to maintain smooth operations
• Follow food safety protocols and sanitation standards diligently to uphold health regulations and guest safety

Requirements

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, preferably with fine dining or nightclub settings
• Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Clover, Zing, DoorDash and Homebase
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic demeanor
• Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment while multitasking seamlessly
• Culinary experience or background in food preparation is advantageous
• Familiarity with food handling, sanitation practices, and food safety regulations
• Basic math skills for cashiering and cash handling responsibilities
• Previous host/hostess or serving experience is beneficial but not mandatory; enthusiasm to learn is key
• Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift moderate loads as required
